The Legacy of HOPE Foundation, Inc.

The Legacy of HOPE Foundation, Inc. strives to meet the needs of underserved, low-income individuals and families.  Our mission is to help alleviate poverty and hunger by providing free clothing, providing emergency food assistance and other essentials that are necessary to improve quality of life.  Through our resource and empowerment center located in the downtown Newport News area our objectives are to meet the basic needs of our community by providing free resources as well as empowerment that promotes self-sufficiency through life skills workshops, education programs, mentoring and empowerment sessions for our youth and mental health resources and services through collaboration with mental health providers.

We strive to build community connections and offer a space for youth, individuals and families to come to connect with resources, learn skills and connect with each other and grow together. Our objective is also to implement programs to help prevent youth violence, domestic violence and other opportunities to improve health and wellness through education and awareness.
