Who We Are

Freekind is a faith-based nonprofit that believes in the inherent worth of every person. And those who have experienced sexual exploitation need to know that they matter. That someone cares. That they have a purpose. That’s why Freekind equips people just like you to become survivor advocates. To demonstrate kindness, to show up for them, to cheer them on, and to provide practical assistance.

The Prevention Project program is our nationally recognized, survivor-informed prevention education curriculum with editions for middle and high school students as well as youth service providers.

For adult victims who have been incarcerated for crimes related to their abuse, we offer Offramps a program that includes jail-based classes to help identify victims, court support to advocate for alternative sentencing, re-entry planning to create a path to freedom, and transitional support as survivors reintegrate into the community.

Freekind addresses both ends of the anti-human trafficking spectrum: working with those who have been exploited to restore the freedom that was stolen from them, and equipping our youth to avoid having their vulnerabilities exploited by traffickers.

What We Do

Freekind exists to prevent human trafficking in our communities and support survivors on their journey to freedom. More than that, we unleash the power of kindness to help restore the humanity stolen from them, offering grace to the most vulnerable in our communities as they regain their freedom, their sense of hope, and their sense of belonging.
