Who We Are
PTD, Inc. focus is to help children reach their potential through professionally supported, one on one relationships with measurable impact. The goal is to match children with caring adults to provide mentoring services with lifelong influence on youths, helping them to grow up, be productive and responsible members of society. The relationships with mentors will motivate the children to do better in school, discourage them from substance abuse, violence and improve their social skills. Establishing these lifelong relationships will allow us to "Protect the Dream" of each child and youth we serve.
What We Do
Protect the Dream Inc. (PTD Inc.) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization providing community-based and site based mentoring services to children and youth,as well as supplemental support services for their families as needed. Our mission is to create lifetime friendships between children and caring adults in the community. Our services are carried out through our two flagship programs, the Virginia Mentoring Coalition and the Boys Leadership Alliance.
