SCORE, Counselors To America's Small Businesses, is a non profit organization dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small business. As a result of the National SCORE alliance with the Small Business Administration as a resource partner, the Peninsula Chapter of SCORE has access to an abundance of resources to aid you and your business or idea in achieving success. Nationally SCORE has almost 400 offices staffed by 11,500 volunteers. SCORE volunteers are both working and retired and donate their time to aid small business owners and entrepreneurs. In fiscal year 2006 SCORE provided almost 388,000 services and in excess of 1.2 million volunteer hours of support for small businesses across America.
