We have exciting news! The HELP Dental Clinic will be moving to a bigger and better space! This is the first step in expanding our ability to ensure even more of our neighbors have access to affordable dental care regardless of their ability to afford insurance! And we now have a lease so we can begin to make it our own!
We do need to do some renovations to the space and those start with some demolition work!
Specifically, we will be taking up vinyl plank, sheet vinyl, and carpet flooring, removing ceiling tiles, and getting rid of extra equipment and furniture. Some drywall demo may be involved as well.
This will be a physical activity--please only volunteer if you are able to move well, get on the floor (hands and knees work), reach over your head, and can lift.
Also, plan to bring work gloves and safety items (we will have some available, but please bring what you have!).
Demo tools like hammers, shovels, scrapers, etc., would be worth bringing as well!
The project will begin at 8 AM and will not go longer than 12 PM, but may be done sooner depending on how quickly the work gets done.
The HELP Dental Clinic will be taking over the space formerly occupied by the Warwick Dental Center, 12420 Warwick Blvd, Suite 1A. The front door faces Warwick Blvd. Parking is available either on the Harris Teeter side of the building or behind the building (there is a rear entrance as well).
