We are in need of volunteers to help with check-in to our thermal shelter! You will have a very direct role in ensuring our neighbors in need of a safe place to sleep at night have what they need to experience a bit of comfort overnight.
Our thermal shelter changes locations every month or so and all locations are in Hampton.
This position is a weekly recurring position and we have availability daily. Your role will include using the computer for check in, intakes for new clients, supply restocking, folding and distribution of linens, and ensuring clients adhere to shelter requirements.
When selecting a shift, please note that the shifts listed are recurring. We are looking for volunteers who can commit to volunteering weekly for the whole shelter season (20 weeks). For example: Select Monday, Nov 11th if you would like to volunteer for Monday Nights at the shelter.
