Volunteer: Park Service ProjectProject: WILD: The National Fish and Wildlife Federation(NFWF) WILD grant funded project aims to eradicate invasive species in 100 acres of Mariners' Park to increase native insect populations to support 32 imperiled bird species. Throughout the areas of the Park, volunteers will assist Mariners' staff in removing a variety of invasive plants such as English ivy, stilt grass, privet, and more. The Park Team will meet the volunteers at the business entrance and provide gloves, instructions and tools.
