Volunteer: Project Full - 2025 Day of Caring at THRIVE Peninsula - Pollinator Garden Refresh

Join us for a hands-on service project to help our community bloom! We're looking for 6–8 volunteers to assist with installing garden edging and weeding in our pollinator garden. Volunteer: Spanish Speaking Volunteers - Admin/Food Pantry

We are seeking volunteers who can assist Spanish speaking families who are seeking food pantry services and financial assistance. If you speak Spanish and have a heart for helping people in need, this is the opportunity for you!

Here at THRIVE, we have over 200 weekly volunteers who volunteer 2 hours or more and run our operations. You'll be joining a positive team environment full of people who want to make a difference in their local community! 

Some Spanish speaking roles needed include (1-2 hour weekly commitment requested during the business day or on a Thursday evening:

Food Pantry: at THRIVE, our food pantry is called The Market. It looks and feels like a grocery store in order to create dignifying experience for families in crisis. We are seeking greeters who can welcome families to The Market and assist them with shopping, as needed

Scheduling/Intake: we receive dozens of calls from families seeking services. We need people who are able to return calls and book them for appointments

Financial Coaching: do you have a passion for budgeting and a compassionate heart? We are seeking people who are willing to take a 20-hour training to become financial coaches. You will work directly with families in crisis to connect them to local resources and help connect them to financial tools
