Who We Are
GUEST is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that provides shelter services and housing resources for the homeless residents of the Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck in order to move the homeless population toward self-sufficiency.
What We Do
Day Shelter and Resource Center: A safe space out of the elements offering free showers, laundry facilities, WIFI, food as well as public transportation ride vouchers.
Winter Shelter: Hosted by local churches and civic organizations for one week at a time during the months of December thru March. The host sites provide a warm and safe space to sleep and a hot nutritional meal.
Housing Resource Advocacy: Connects individuals with resources to help stabilize their housing crisis as quickly as possible. Individuals receive assistance in applying for employment, Social Services benefits, Social Security benefits, housing applications, rental assistance programs and educational programs.
Ride Home Program: Provides transportation through Greyhound bus tickets to help reconnect individuals with family and housing in other locations.
