Who We Are
We are a 501c3 nonprofit located in the city of Newport News. Mentoring is our mission! We exist to empower youth and families by imparting tools for leadership, resilience, and faith through mentorship.
What We Do
Firm Foundation empowers youth ages 8-18 to see a brighter future for themselves. The mentorship program is made possible by community volunteers who give their time to a young person in need of support.
Mentors are required to take onboarding steps and submit a background check. There is no magic formula to being a good mentor. It's simply being someone a child can count on and being someone who cares. To begin the application process, visit our website at firmfoundation.life.
