Who We Are
The mission of the Hampton History Museum is "to build a better future by exploring and preserving our past." We are the museum of the life and history of Hampton and are in the process of creating a new way of telling the City's story. As an institution, the Hampton History Museum is and should be a catalyst for change and a powerful tool in building community. Our vision is to foster a community that comes together to honor our shared history and personal stories and then uses the lessons learned to improve our future.
What We Do
Our mission is accomplished through new exhibitions, city-wide initiatives, museum programs that educate & entertain the general public in an engaging way. Museum programming includes monthly lecture events, musical performances, museum tours, educational outreach, & much more!
