We need skilled volunteers on Saturday, June 25, 2016 as Team Leaders to support our community volunteers as we assist low-income, elderly or disabled homeowners with:
- exterior carpentry (replace hand rails, porches, stairs, ramps, etc.)
- house & siding painting
- other minor exterior repairs (steps, gutters, fence)
- safety-related improvements
Team Leaders will oversee the projects and volunteers on a selected home. All the preparation work is complete. We need skilled volunteers as Team Leaders to come on the day of and support our community volunteers and lead on the repairs. We provide shirts, refreshments, lunch, water and more for all involved.
The next Newport News Home Repair Blitz is re-scheduled for Saturday, June 25, 2016
