Two Shifts available- 11-12:30pm or 11:30-12:30 Both are on Friday, 11/6/2020
DETAILS:
Volunteers will report on-site and will assist with preparing the area, distributing shelf-stable goods and fresh produce, as well as helping set up the event, register attendees, assist attendees with transporting food items to their vehicles or residence (on site), and with clean-up under the supervision of Foodbank Staff. Volunteers must be minimum 15 years old and above for this activity. Volunteers must be able to lift up to 35 pounds. So that the distribution can start on time, please arrive at the designated start time. This Mobile Pantry will take place inside/outside, rain or shine, hot or cold, so please dress appropriately.
Safety and health are our top priorities which is why we require appropriate attire and footwear, this includes:
- Wearing close-toed shoes
- No short shorts or mini-skirts
- No halter, tank midriff, or see-through tops
- No clothing that has words, terms or pictures, that may be offensive to other volunteers or staff
We also require that all volunteers bring a face covering, to be worn during volunteering. Gloves will be provided during the event.
