Description

As an Office Assistant Volunteer at LINK of Hampton Roads, you will play a crucial role in supporting our organization's day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Client Assistance: Assist clients in filling out paperwork, providing guidance, and addressing their inquiries in a friendly and empathetic manner.

  2. Phone Support: Handle incoming calls and provide information about our services, programs, and resources. Effective communication skills are essential in conveying information clearly and professionally.

  3. Food Pantry Support: Collaborate with the food pantry staff to package and bag bread, fresh produce, and other food items for distribution to our clients.

  4. Guest Greeting: Ensure that all guests are warmly welcomed and receive a positive experience when visiting our office.

  5. Team Collaboration: Work closely with our team to identify any areas that may require special attention or improvement, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations.

  6. Work Environment: Contribute to maintaining a positive work environment that emphasizes teamwork, mutual respect, and effective communication.
