The Girl Scouts of the Colonial Coast are looking for volunteers to assist at our annual Cookie Count-n-Go delivery locations on February 24, 2024. We will distribute approximately 75,000 cases of cookies, which equates to 900,000 boxes of cookies to more than 680 troops across the three delivery locations!
Event is rain, snow or shine!
Volunteers can choose a shift OR help all day.
- 1st shift: 7:00 – 10:00 am
- 2nd shift: 9:30 am – 12:30 pm
- All day: 7:00 - 12:30 pm
Volunteers must be:
- 15 years old or older (minors must have their caregiver’s permission).
- Prepared to work the entire shift selected.
- Able to lift at least 30 lbs.
- Able to be on their feet for at least 3 hours.
Volunteers will be assigned as a Counter/Loader – loading and counting cases of cookies into volunteer vehicles.
Additional Information:
- Water and snacks will be available. We also suggest bringing a water bottle too!
- Volunteers will receive a participation letter, which will be generically addressed (Dear Volunteer), with a blank space to enter volunteer hours.
- Volunteers will receive a box of Girl Scout cookies when checking out.
