United Way of the Virginia Peninsula is excited to launch this new affinity group, Emerging Leaders Society (ELS). This program is for United Way donors in their 20s and 30s who work to ensure that every child succeeds in school, our community is a safe and healthy place, and those living here have financial stability. ELS is the next generation of philanthropic leaders on the Virginia Peninsula, and we welcome you to be a part of it. Join us for our kickoff event at Tradition Brewing Company in Newport News on Monday, July 17th at 5 PM. This is a wonderful opportunity to network and to hear from some of our community’s most philanthropic leaders: Debra A. Flores, Sentara CarePlex Hospital; Conway H. Sheild, III, Jones, Blechman, Woltz & Kelly; and Keith D. VanderVennet, Ferguson Enterprises.
