Join us as we give our neighbors a helping hand, do some spring cleaning, and celebrate our ongoing commitment to transforming the neighborhood. Habitat for Humanity and the City of Newport News are partnering for the Home Repair Blitz between 22nd and 16th streets and Jefferson and Marshall avenues. If you are interested in assisting with the Home Repair Blitz, sign up directly with Habitat for Humanity. The Choice Neighborhood Team is supporting this effort with the Neighborhood Cleanup, followed by a Block Party for VOLUNTEERS at Marshall Early Learning Center. If you are interested in assisting with the Neighborhood Cleanup, please sign up on this page or use the contact info listed above. The City will provide supplies for the cleanup, which starts at 10 AM. The party starts at noon and will include food, music, activities for the kids, and the opportunity to meet your neighbors.
