United Way of the Virginia Peninsula needs your help picking-up books, puzzles, games and toys from Yankee Candle in Williamsburg and distributing to local organizations to help the communities they serve. While we are sad to see Yankee Candle leave the Williamsburg community, we are grateful for their donation of books, puzzles, toys, and games.
We’ll be distributing over 30,000 items to community organizations with giving programs for children, senior citizens, and adults with disabilities.
Volunteers must be at least 12 years old to participate. Volunteers under 16 should be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
Multiple time slots on Friday, April 16, 2021 are available:
7:30 am- 11:30 am
8:30 am- 12:30 pm
12:00 pm- 3:30 pm
